Queensland Stocked Impoundment Permit (SIPS)

Current permit costs

The Queensland Government page lists AUD 13.60 for 1 week, AUD 64.58 for 1 year and AUD 46.45 for a concession 1-year permit. The official page says fees were indexed from 1 July 2026.

Where SIPS applies

Before buying, confirm that the dam or weir is on the current SIPS location list. The locations page is the official list to check; do not rely on an old camping article, map screenshot or forum post.
