ACT licence check
ACT public waters do not use a general ACT recreational fishing licence. That is the starting point for Canberra lakes, ponds and rivers, but it is not the whole trip check.
Use the grid below to decide which official pathway to open before fishing.

Keep in mind
For most Canberra public-water fishing, there is no general ACT licence to buy. Do not turn that into "no rules": check the water category, species, gear and access conditions. If the trip is Googong Reservoir, use the NSW fee or exemption pathway first.
