Queensland Fishing Licence Check: SIPS Permit and Beginner Gear

Before buying Queensland gear

Queensland is not a general-licence-first state for ordinary public-water fishing. The useful first question for a beginner is not "which statewide licence do I buy?" It is "is this water a listed SIPS impoundment, and what Queensland rules change the gear I should carry?"
