Do not treat the marine park map as a replacement for fisheries rules. Use both the marine park map and Queensland recreational fishing rules before keeping catch or setting gear.
Species, crabs and shellfish
Use the Queensland tidal size and possession limits for common Moreton Bay catches such as bream, flathead, whiting, tailor, snapper and pearl perch, mud crabs, blue swimmer crabs, Moreton Bay bugs and prawns. Do not rely on a screenshot or old tackle-shop table for a mixed bay catch.
