Exemptions	Under-18 anglers, Aboriginal people, some Pensioner Concession Card holders, selected DVA categories and other listed cases may not need to pay.
Duration	Service NSW publishes 3-day, 1-month, 1-year and 3-year options.
Start date	Short-duration licences are trip-sensitive, so choose dates carefully on Service NSW.
Proof access	Keep your NSW Fishing Fee Receipt or digital receipt available while fishing.

After you apply

Carry your NSW Fishing Fee Receipt or digital receipt while fishing. If you are exempt, carry the required exemption proof instead. A paid receipt does not remove NSW bag limits, size limits, closed waters, marine parks, gear rules or species rules.
